Winctrl (formerly Winwing) introduces the UFC-2, a versatile USB control panel designed for both airliner and military sim pits. Featuring programmable buttons, a backlit display, and Hall-effect switches, the UFC-2 promises to simplify cockpit building.
Winctrl, the rebranded company formerly known as Winwing, has expanded its lineup with the UFC-2, a universal USB control panel aimed at home cockpit enthusiasts. The device combines a 3.5-inch backlit LCD with a matrix of programmable buttons and dual rotary encoders, all of which can be customized via the company's SimApp software. The UFC-2 is designed to emulate either the F/A-18 UFC or the 737 MCP, with switchable faceplates for quick reconfiguration.
Using Hall-effect sensors for all toggles and push-buttons, the UFC-2 offers high reliability and precision, and it is compatible with both PC and console platforms. The unit connects via a single USB-C cable, making installation a breeze. Early reviews from beta testers have praised the build quality and the clarity of the LED displays, even in brightly lit rooms.
The UFC-2 ships with two faceplates (airliner and military) and is available now for pre-order on the Winctrl website, with deliveries expected to begin in early October. For cockpit builders seeking a versatile, high-quality control interface, the UFC-2 represents a compelling option that bridges the gap between airliner and military simulation.
