Winctrl, formerly Winwing, announces a new FCU for Airbus cockpits featuring haptic feedback and high-resolution OLED displays. The unit aims to provide a realistic interface for the A320neo/A330neo and is compatible with MSFS and X-Plane.

Winctrl, the rebranded company formerly known as Winwing, has unveiled its latest product for Airbus simmers: a new Flight Control Unit (FCU) designed to replicate the unit found in the A320neo and A330neo. The FCU features high-resolution OLED displays that show the selected altitude, heading, and speed, with crisp readability even in bright sunlight. The knobs now include haptic feedback, providing tactile cues when adjusting values, which adds a level of realism that is often missing in consumer-grade hardware.

The unit is compatible with both MSFS and X-Plane, and it interfaces via USB with a single cable. It has been designed to work seamlessly with popular Airbus add-ons like the Fenix A320 and the iniBuilds A300, and it includes a mode switch for different aircraft types. The FCU is constructed from aluminium and features backlighting that matches the ambient lighting of the cockpit.

Winctrl has also announced a companion cockpit panel that includes the gear lever and flaps control, which can be mounted alongside the FCU for a more complete setup. The FCU is expected to ship in early 2027, with pre-orders opening later this month. This release marks Winctrl's continued commitment to providing high-fidelity cockpit hardware at a price point that is accessible to dedicated simmers.
