Winctrl (formerly Winwing) has announced a new 737 MCP panel featuring precision rotary encoders, OLED displays, and USB pass-through, targeting serious cockpit builders.

Winctrl, the rebranded Winwing, has expanded its home cockpit lineup with a brand-new 737 MCP panel. Designed for simmers who demand tactile precision, the unit features all the familiar controls: course, heading, altitude, vertical speed, and speed dials, each with a machined aluminum knob and a satisfying detent. The panel includes bright OLED displays that mirror the aircraft's EFIS readouts, with adjustable brightness for night flying.

A standout feature is the integrated USB pass-through hub, allowing pilots to daisy-chain additional Winctrl modules (such as the EFIS or radio panel) without cluttering their setup with extra USB cables. The MCP communicates over a dedicated USB interface, and it's compatible with both MSFS 2020/2024 and X-Plane 12 out of the box, with drivers for P3D in beta.

Priced at $299, it's positioned competitively against similar offerings from CockpitPhD and Skalarki. We've had a chance to handle a pre-production unit, and the build quality is impressive—rock solid with no wobble, and the buttons have a crisp, positive action. The LED backlighting is evenly distributed, and the knobs turn with a smooth, high-quality feel.

Winctrl says the panel will ship in October, and pre-orders are open now. This is a compelling option for simmers who want a professional-grade MCP without breaking the bank, and it's a sign that Winctrl is serious about capturing the home cockpit market.
