Winctrl has announced a new Airbus A320 FCU and EFIS panel set, featuring backlit buttons, dual rotary encoders, and USB-C connectivity. The hardware is designed to interface natively with MSFS 2024 and X-Plane 12 via a new driver suite.

Winctrl, the hardware brand formerly known as Winwing, has expanded its Airbus lineup with a high-fidelity A320 Flight Control Unit (FCU) and EFIS panel. The new unit replicates the layout of the real A320 forward panel, including speed, heading, altitude, and vertical speed windows with seven-segment LED displays, plus mode buttons for AP, A/THR, and EXPED. The EFIS panel includes baro and radio minima selectors, mode switches, and a full range of navigation display controls.

The hardware uses dual rotary encoders for each selector, providing tactile feedback and acceleration logic that mimics the real aircraft's behavior—slow rotation for fine adjustments, faster rotation for larger changes. Connectivity is via USB-C, and Winctrl has developed a new driver suite that supports MSFS 2024, X-Plane 12, and Prepar3D. The driver allows for custom button mapping and supports native integration with the FlyByWire A32NX and Fenix A320.

For cockpit builders, the FCU and EFIS panels are designed to fit standard 19-inch rack mounts or can be used as desktop units with the included stand. The panels are constructed from ABS plastic with a matte finish, and the buttons are backlit with adjustable brightness. Winctrl says the units will begin shipping in Q4 2026, with pre-orders opening next month. Pricing has not been announced, but a bundle with both panels is expected to be competitive with similar offerings from Skalarki and CockpitPhD.

This release signals Winctrl's continued commitment to the serious home cockpit market, following its rebranding and expansion into Boeing and Airbus replica hardware.
