Winctrl has unveiled its latest hardware: a replica Boeing 787 throttle quadrant with detents for T/O, CLB, CON, CRZ. Preorders are open, and the unit is compatible with MSFS and X-Plane 12.
Winctrl, the rebranded successor to Winwing, has announced a new throttle quadrant for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. This hardware replicates the type's unique throttle layout, including the TOGA and automatic thrust modes.
The quadrant features a realistic detent mechanism, with positions for TO, CLB, CON, and CRZ thrust, as well as reverse. It also includes a full set of buttons and switches for autothrottle, autopilot, and other systems.
According to the company, the hardware is plug-and-play with MSFS 2020/2024 and X-Plane 12, with support for major add-on aircraft such as the PMDG 777 and the upcoming TFDi 767. The unit is constructed with the same high-quality materials as previous Winctrl products, ensuring durability.
Preorders are open now, with shipments expected to begin in Q4 2026. The price is set at $399, making it competitive with other high-end throttles on the market. For serious long-haul simmers, this is a compelling addition to a home cockpit.
