Winctrl, the rebranded Winwing, has launched a high-fidelity A320 FCU featuring force feedback and haptic alerts. The unit includes backlit buttons and dual rotary encoders for realistic autopilot interaction.
Winctrl, formerly known as Winwing, has unveiled its new A320 Flight Control Unit (FCU) aimed at serious Airbus simmers. The unit features force feedback on the altitude and heading selectors, providing tactile resistance that mimics the real aircraft's detents. Haptic alerts vibrate the panel when autopilot disconnects or when the aircraft enters a protection mode, adding a layer of immersion previously unavailable in consumer hardware.
The FCU includes backlit buttons with adjustable brightness, dual rotary encoders for speed and altitude, and a dedicated LCD display for selected values. It connects via USB-C and is compatible with MSFS 2020/2024, X-Plane 12, and Prepar3D. Winctrl provides a configuration tool that maps functions directly to popular add-ons like Fenix A320 and ToLiss A320neo.
Pre-orders open on October 20, with shipping expected in December. The unit is priced at $499.99. Winctrl also announced a matching EFIS panel and a full A320 pedestal coming in 2027. The company emphasized that this product is designed for cockpit builders seeking high-fidelity replica hardware at a competitive price point.
