Winctrl has released a new Airbus A320 FCU and throttle quadrant, designed for home cockpit builders. The units feature realistic backlit buttons, motorized throttles, and full compatibility with MSFS and X-Plane.

Winctrl, the hardware manufacturer formerly known as Winwing, has unveiled its latest products aimed at Airbus enthusiasts: a replica A320 FCU (Flight Control Unit) and a motorized throttle quadrant. The FCU features realistic backlit buttons, dual rotary encoders for heading and altitude, and a high-resolution LCD display for speed, heading, altitude, and vertical speed. It connects via USB and is compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024 and X-Plane 12, with native support for the Fenix Simulations A320 and ToLiss A320 family.

The throttle quadrant is a significant step up from previous offerings, featuring motorized thrust levers that automatically move during autothrottle operations. It includes detents for CL, FLX, and TOGA, as well as a reverse thrust range and a fuel cutoff position. The unit is constructed from metal and high-quality plastics, with a realistic feel and robust build quality. Winctrl has also included a set of interchangeable lever handles for different engine types.

Both units are designed to be modular and can be mounted in a variety of cockpit setups. Winctrl offers a range of mounting brackets and supports, including compatibility with popular cockpit building standards such as OpenCockpits and SimVim. The company has also released a new configuration tool that allows users to assign functions and calibrate the hardware without needing third-party software.

The A320 FCU is priced at $349.99, while the throttle quadrant is $499.99. Both are available for pre-order now, with shipping expected in early December. Winctrl has also announced that it is working on a complete A320 cockpit suite, including an overhead panel and MCDU, which will be released in 2027.
