Winctrl, formerly known as Winwing, has unveiled its latest innovation: a force feedback yoke designed for professional and enthusiast flight simulators. The yoke promises unprecedented realism by dynamically simulating control forces across a wide range of aircraft, from light GA to heavy airliners.
Winctrl, the rebranded powerhouse known for high-fidelity replica cockpit hardware, has introduced a groundbreaking force feedback yoke aimed at transforming the flight simulation experience. The new yoke, named the Winctrl FF-1, utilizes advanced brushless motors and proprietary software to replicate aerodynamic forces, control loading, and even buffet effects. It is compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024, X-Plane 12, and Prepar3D.
The FF-1 features a full 180-degree pitch axis and 90-degree roll axis, with adjustable tension and force profiles. It includes a comprehensive set of controls: two 8-way hat switches, two push buttons, a scroll wheel, and a trim wheel, all housed in a durable metal construction. The yoke also supports plug-and-play integration with popular simulators via Winctrl's SimApp Pro software, which allows users to fine-tune force curves and effects.
"We wanted to create a yoke that not only looks and feels authentic but also communicates the physical feedback pilots rely on," said a Winctrl representative. The FF-1 is expected to ship in Q1 2027, with pre-orders opening later this year. Pricing has not yet been announced, but it is anticipated to be competitive with other high-end yokes. This announcement underscores Winctrl's dedication to pushing the boundaries of simulation hardware.
