Winctrl (formerly Winwing) has unveiled its latest hardware, the A320 FCU panel, featuring realistic haptic feedback, backlit buttons, and full compatibility with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The panel is designed for both home cockpit builders and desktop simmers.
Winctrl, the hardware manufacturer formerly known as Winwing, has announced its new Airbus A320 Flight Control Unit (FCU) panel, aimed at simmers who demand tactile fidelity. The panel replicates the A320's FCU with backlit buttons, rotary encoders for altitude, heading, and speed selection, and a new haptic feedback system that simulates the detents and clicks of the real unit. It connects via USB and is plug-and-play compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, X-Plane 12, and Prepar3D.
The FCU panel is constructed from aviation-grade aluminum and features a realistic matte finish. It includes integrated support for the Fenix Simulations A320 and FlyByWire A32NX, with profiles for other aircraft in development. The haptic feedback is driven by a dedicated control software that allows users to adjust the intensity and response curve. Winctrl has also ensured that the panel integrates with popular cockpit-building software like Skalarki's Profiler and CockpitPhD's interface solutions.
Pricing and availability have not been finalized, but Winctrl expects to open pre-orders in November, with shipping in early 2027. The company will showcase the FCU at FSExpo 2027 in Las Vegas. For those building a home A320 cockpit, this panel represents a significant step up from previous offerings, offering a level of realism previously reserved for professional simulators. Winctrl continues to solidify its reputation as a leader in high-fidelity replica hardware.
