Winctrl (formerly Winwing) has unveiled a new Airbus A320 FCU and throttle quadrant, designed for home cockpit builders. The units feature backlit buttons, motorized throttles, and full compatibility with MSFS 2024 and X-Plane 12.
Winctrl, the hardware manufacturer formerly known as Winwing, has announced a new line of Airbus A320 cockpit hardware aimed at serious home cockpit builders. The centerpiece is a highly detailed FCU (Flight Control Unit) that replicates the A320's autopilot panel, complete with backlit buttons, rotary knobs with push-pull functionality, and a built-in display for altitude, heading, and speed. The FCU connects via USB and is plug-and-play compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and X-Plane 12.
Alongside the FCU, Winctrl is releasing a motorized throttle quadrant for the A320. The quadrant features two thrust levers with realistic detents for CL, MCT, and TOGA, as well as speedbrake and flap levers. The motorized autothrottle system is driven by high-torque servos that can be back-driven, providing realistic feedback during autothrottle engagements. The unit also includes a built-in trim wheel and a parking brake lever.
Both products are constructed from aluminum and feature a rugged, professional-grade finish. Winctrl has stated that the FCU and throttle quadrant will be available in Q2 2027, with pre-orders opening in January. Pricing has not been finalized, but the company hints at a competitive price point compared to similar products from Skalarki and CockpitPhD. These new offerings solidify Winctrl's position as a major player in the high-fidelity flight simulation hardware market.
