Winctrl (formerly Winwing) has unveiled a new A320 FCU and throttle quadrant bundle aimed at home cockpit builders. The set features backlit buttons, realistic detents, and full integration with MSFS 2024 and X-Plane 12.
Winctrl, the hardware manufacturer formerly known as Winwing, has announced a new Airbus A320 Flight Control Unit (FCU) and throttle quadrant bundle designed for serious home cockpit builders. The FCU replicates the A320's glareshield panel with high-fidelity backlit pushbuttons, rotary encoders for heading, altitude, and speed selection, and a dedicated LCD display for barometric pressure. The throttle quadrant includes realistic detents for CLB, FLX/MCT, and TO/GA, along with reverse thrust levers and a fuel cutoff switch. Both units are constructed from metal and high-grade plastics, with a focus on tactile feedback that mirrors the real aircraft.
Connectivity is via USB-C, and Winctrl provides native profiles for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and X-Plane 12, including support for the Fenix A320 and ToLiss A320 families. The bundle also integrates with third-party software like Mobiflight and SPAD.neXt, allowing custom assignments for PMDG and iniBuilds aircraft. For builders using Skalarki or CockpitPhD components, Winctrl's modular design allows for rack-mounting alongside existing panels.
Pricing is set at €899 for the bundle, with individual units available separately. Shipping begins in November 2026. While the market for Airbus replica hardware has grown crowded, Winctrl's reputation for build quality and responsive customer support gives this bundle a strong edge. We'll have a full review once units ship.
