PMDG has released the long-awaited 777-300ER for Microsoft Flight Simulator, featuring a full FMS simulation with LNAV/VNAV, custom EFIS, and detailed systems modeling. The package includes multiple engine options and a new livery manager.

PMDG has finally released its Boeing 777-300ER for Microsoft Flight Simulator, marking the culmination of months of anticipation. The add-on includes a deeply simulated FMS with LNAV, VNAV, and RNP approaches, plus a custom EFIS that mirrors the real aircraft's displays. Systems modeling covers hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical generation, with failure modes that will challenge even veteran simmers.

The 777-300ER is available in GE90-115B and Trent 800 configurations, each with distinct performance characteristics and sound sets. PMDG has also introduced a new livery manager, allowing for easy installation of over 30 included liveries, ranging from major international carriers to less common operators.

Initial user feedback highlights the accurate flight dynamics, especially during high-altitude cruise and manual approaches. The aircraft's VNAV descent planning has been refined to reduce throttle hunting, a common issue in add-on airliners. Performance is optimized for MSFS 2024, though it runs well in MSFS 2020 with modest frame rates on mid-range systems.

For those seeking an authentic long-haul experience, the PMDG 777-300ER is a must-have. It sets a new benchmark for systems depth and immersion in the MSFS ecosystem.
