PMDG has announced that its highly anticipated Boeing 777-200ER for MSFS 2024 has entered beta testing, with a release targeted for December 2026.
PMDG's Robert Randazzo has confirmed that the Boeing 777-200ER for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has entered beta testing, with a release planned before the end of the year. The 777-200ER will join the already-released 777-300ER in PMDG's MSFS 2024 lineup, featuring the same high level of system simulation, including a fully functional FMS, accurate VNAV and LNAV, and detailed engine and hydraulic models.
The -200ER variant introduces different engine options (Pratt & Whitney PW4000, Rolls-Royce Trent 800, and GE90-94B) and a different fuel capacity and range. PMDG has stated that the beta is focused on polishing the flight model and ensuring compatibility with the latest MSFS 2024 updates. The team is also working on the 777F freighter, which will follow in 2027.
Randazzo noted that the 777-200ER will be a paid expansion to the 777-300ER base package, with a discounted price for existing owners. He also hinted at further 777 variants, including the 777-200LR, though no timeline was given. PMDG continues to support its 737 line, with a significant update for the 737-800 expected next month.
