Orbx Simulation Systems has released TrueEarth Southern England for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, a comprehensive scenery package covering the southern half of England and Wales. The add-on features 15,000 square miles of high-resolution aerial imagery, custom autogen, and hand-placed landmarks such as Stonehenge, the White Cliffs of Dover, and London's skyline.
The package includes over 60 enhanced airfields, including EGKA (Shoreham), EGHH (Bournemouth), and EGGD (Bristol), each with accurate runway layouts, taxiways, and custom buildings. Orbx has also integrated precise terrain mesh and water masking, ensuring realistic coastlines and rivers. The scenery is fully compatible with third-party airports and uses the latest MSFS 2024 rendering techniques for improved performance.
TrueEarth Southern England is available now on OrbxDirect and the Microsoft Marketplace for $44.99. Existing owners of the MSFS 2020 version can upgrade for $19.99. Orbx plans to release TrueEarth Central England and Scotland in 2027.
