Orbx has released KBOS Boston Logan International for MSFS, featuring a fully custom terminal complex, accurate runway markings, and dynamic lighting. The scenery includes enhanced taxiway signage and PBR materials for a realistic appearance.
Orbx has expanded its US airport lineup with the release of KBOS Boston Logan International for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This scenery pack brings a high level of detail to one of the busiest airports on the East Coast, with custom models of all terminals, control tower, and hangars. The ground textures feature precise runway and taxiway markings, including correct hold short lines and approach lighting systems.
A standout feature is the integration of dynamic lighting, which enhances the airport's appearance during night operations, with apron floodlights and terminal window glows. The scenery also includes custom jetways that animate with the default GSX integration, and parking spots accurately reflect real-world airline assignments.
Performance has been optimized through the use of LODs and efficient texture management, ensuring smooth frame rates even on systems with mid-range GPUs. Orbx has also included a detailed Boston skyline and surrounding harbor area, adding to the sense of place.
For virtual pilots flying into KBOS in airliners or GA aircraft, this scenery is a must-have. It is available now on Orbx Direct and the in-sim marketplace.
