Navigraph has released Charts 9, bringing a native in-game panel for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and deeper SimBrief integration. The update also includes a redesigned route planning interface and support for RNP AR approaches.

Navigraph has launched Charts 9, the latest iteration of its popular electronic flight bag (EFB) software. The headline feature is a fully native in-game panel for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, allowing pilots to access SID/STAR charts, airport diagrams, and approach plates without leaving the cockpit. The panel supports touch input and can be resized or moved to any monitor, making it ideal for home cockpit builders.

Charts 9 also introduces a revamped route planning interface that integrates directly with SimBrief. Pilots can now import flight plans with a single click, and the system will automatically highlight relevant departure and arrival procedures. The update adds support for RNP AR approaches, including the ability to display radius-to-fix legs and RF leg transitions. This is particularly useful for challenging airports like London City (EGLC) or Innsbruck (LOWI).

Performance has been improved, with faster chart loading and reduced memory footprint. Navigraph has also updated its navdata to cycle 2410, ensuring accuracy for online flying on VATSIM and IVAO. The in-game panel is available for both MSFS 2020 and 2024, as well as X-Plane 12. Existing subscribers can download the update immediately. A free trial is available for new users.
