iniBuilds has launched its highly anticipated KJFK scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, bringing Terminal 4, Terminal 8, and accurate RNP approach procedures to the sim. The package includes custom ground textures, dynamic lighting, and full compatibility with GSX Pro.

iniBuilds has unveiled its latest scenery package: New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (KJFK) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. This release marks the developer's first major US airport for the new platform, following its successful London Heathrow and Los Angeles packages. The scenery features meticulously modeled Terminal 4 and Terminal 8, including interior details for the main concourses, and accurately replicates the airport's complex runway layout—13L/31R, 13R/31L, 4L/22R, and 4R/22L—with custom runway textures and approach lighting systems.

Of particular note for serious simmers is the inclusion of RNP approaches for runways 13L and 13R, which require precise vertical guidance and are commonly used during CONEY departures. The developer has also implemented custom taxiway signage, ground markings, and dynamic lighting that adjusts based on time of day and weather. Performance has been optimized for MSFS 2024's new rendering engine, with optional static aircraft and simplified terminal interiors for lower-end systems.

The package is fully compatible with GSX Pro and includes custom jetways and ground service vehicles. iniBuilds has also integrated Navigraph navdata, ensuring that SID/STAR procedures match real-world charts. This release fills a significant gap for long-haul simmers, as KJFK is a major hub for transatlantic and transpacific routes.

New York JFK is available now on the iniBuilds store and Orbx Direct for $24.99. Existing owners of the MSFS 2020 version can upgrade for a discounted price. iniBuilds has confirmed that a version for X-Plane 12 is under consideration but not yet announced.
