iniBuilds has launched its long-awaited EGLL scenery for MSFS 2024, featuring a fully modeled Terminal 5 interior, accurate taxiway signage, and custom GSX profiles. It sets a new standard for UK airport add-ons.
IniBuilds has finally released its London Heathrow (EGLL) scenery for MSFS 2024, and it was worth the wait. The airport is rendered with a level of detail that surpasses the developer's earlier Gatwick and Stansted efforts, with particular attention paid to Terminal 5 — the interior is fully modeled, including the departure lounge, retail units, and the correct gate podiums with working jet bridges.
Airside, the taxiway network is accurate to current AIP data, including the new taxiway Alpha November and the revised holding points for Runway 27R departures. Ground markings reflect the real-world signage, which matters when you're taxiing a 777-300ER in low visibility. The runway textures use custom PBR materials with believable rubber buildup and centerline light bloom.
Performance is surprisingly good for a scenery of this size. On a 4070 Ti at 1440p with Fenix A320, we saw 38-45 FPS on the ground, rising to 55+ in cruise. IniBuilds has included a config tool for static aircraft density, which helps on lower-end systems.
GSX Pro profiles are included for all terminals, and the developer has confirmed compatibility with the upcoming MSFS 2024 World Update for the UK. At £24.99, it's a must-have for anyone flying European short-haul.
