The highly anticipated widebody add-on arrives with a custom FMS, accurate PBN/RNP AR approaches, and detailed system simulation. Initial release supports 15 liveries and includes SimBrief integration.
iniBuilds has officially released the Airbus A350-900 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, marking the developer's first long-haul aircraft built natively for the new platform. The add-on features a custom flight management system that accurately models VNAV path and speed descent modes, required for RNP AR approaches down to minima. Simmers will appreciate the inclusion of real-world SID/STAR procedures and a comprehensive takeoff performance calculator integrated with Navigraph data.
The visual model includes a detailed cockpit with functioning EFIS, FCU, and MCDU, alongside a fully modeled cabin and exterior. Systems depth extends to hydraulic and electrical buses, FADEC-controlled engines, and a realistic autopilot that handles turbulence and wind shear. The aircraft supports SimBrief flight plan imports and VATSIM/IVAO integration for online flying.
According to iniBuilds, the A350-900 will receive continuous updates, including the -1000 variant and additional engine options. The release is available now on the iniBuilds store and Microsoft Marketplace for $69.99. A launch discount of 10% applies until October 15.
