iniBuilds has released its Airbus A350-900 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, marking a significant addition to the sim's long-haul fleet. The aircraft features a highly detailed fly-by-wire system that replicates the A350's normal law protections, including pitch attitude and bank angle limits. The FMS is fully functional, supporting PBN and RNP approaches with AR (Authorization Required) capability, and includes a comprehensive database of SIDs and STARs.
The visual model is meticulously crafted, with a fully modeled cabin and exterior, including animated flaps, slats, and landing gear. The cockpit features high-resolution textures and accurate EFIS displays, with options for both the older and newer A350 configurations. System depth is impressive, with hydraulic, electrical, and fuel systems simulated to a high degree of fidelity. The aircraft also includes a robust failure simulation module, allowing pilots to practice abnormal and emergency procedures.
iniBuilds has also integrated SimBrief support for flight planning and Navigraph charts for in-sim navigation. The sound package, developed in collaboration with a real A350 pilot, captures the distinctive Trent XWB engine sounds. The A350-900 is available now on the iniBuilds store and the MSFS Marketplace, priced at $59.99. A -1000 variant is planned for release in early 2027.
