iniBuilds has released its Airbus A350-1000 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, marking the studio's most ambitious widebody project to date. The add-on features a custom-built FMS that accurately models the A350's Honeywell flight management system, including full PBN and RNP AR approach capabilities with radius-to-fix legs and vertical deviation display on the PFD. VNAV and LNAV logic has been tuned to replicate the A350's energy management, with precise speed and altitude constraints adherence.
The visual model includes the Trent XWB-97 engines with authentic FADEC behavior, a fully modeled cabin, and animated ground equipment. Systems depth extends to hydraulic and electrical buses, bleed air logic, and the A350's unique taxi assistance camera system. The aircraft also supports Navigraph navdata integration and SimBrief flight plan import via the EFB.
Asobo Studio's MSFS 2024 platform provides the foundation, leveraging the new aerodynamics and CFD improvements for accurate handling. iniBuilds has confirmed that the A350-900 will follow as a free update for existing customers, with the -1000 available now on the iniBuilds store and Marketplace for $69.99. The release includes 12 liveries, with more to come via the iniManager.
