iniBuilds has revealed its upcoming Airbus A350 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, featuring an ultra-detailed cockpit, custom FMS, and advanced fly-by-wire simulation. The developer aims to set a new standard for long-haul airliners.

iniBuilds has officially announced the development of an Airbus A350 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, marking its entry into the long-haul widebody market. The aircraft will feature a highly detailed cockpit with fully functional EFIS, FCU, and a custom Flight Management System (FMS) that replicates the real A350's Honeywell Primus Epic avionics. The developer promises accurate VNAV and LNAV behavior, including RNP AR approach capability.

The external model is being built using high-resolution 3D scanning and PBR textures, capturing the distinctive winglets and cockpit window design. The fly-by-wire system will simulate the A350's normal law protections, including pitch attitude protection and high-speed protection. Engine modeling will include the Rolls-Royce Trent XWB, with accurate spool-up times and fuel burn.

iniBuilds plans to release the A350 in two variants: the A350-900 and A350-1000, each with distinct performance characteristics. The cockpit will feature a fully interactive touchscreen interface for the Onboard Information Terminal (OIT), and the cabin will be modeled with multiple configurations. The developer is also collaborating with Navigraph to ensure the FMS uses the latest navdata cycle, supporting PBN operations.

A release date has not been set, but iniBuilds expects to enter beta testing in early 2027. The team is targeting a Q2 2027 release, with pricing to be announced closer to launch. Given iniBuilds' track record with the A310 and A300, this A350 is poised to become a must-have for long-haul enthusiasts. We'll be watching this one closely.
