Honeycomb Aeronautical has announced the Alpha Flight Controls XPC, a new yoke and throttle quadrant designed for X-Plane 12 and MSFS 2024. The XPC features Hall-effect sensors, adjustable tension, and a new mounting system.
Honeycomb Aeronautical has taken the wraps off its latest product, the Alpha Flight Controls XPC, a yoke and throttle quadrant combo aimed at serious flight simmers. The XPC builds on the success of the original Alpha and Bravo products, but introduces several key improvements. The yoke now features Hall-effect sensors for all axes, providing smoother and more precise input. The pitch axis has adjustable tension, allowing pilots to tailor the feel to their preference.
The throttle quadrant includes six axes: two throttle levers, one prop lever, one mixture lever, and two assignable axes. It also features a set of programmable buttons and switches, including a gear lever and flap switch. The XPC is designed to work seamlessly with both X-Plane 12 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, with native support for their respective control assignment systems.
"We listened to our customers and incorporated their feedback into the XPC," said a Honeycomb spokesperson. "The new mounting system is more robust and easier to install, and the overall build quality is second to none." The XPC is expected to ship in Q1 2027, with a retail price of $299.99. Pre-orders will open on November 1, 2026.
