Fenix Simulations announces the A320neo V2, featuring a fully functional EFB, improved fly-by-wire logic, and detailed systems modeling. The update is set for release in Q4 2026.
Fenix Simulations has announced the highly anticipated A320neo V2 for MSFS 2024, a comprehensive upgrade to their flagship Airbus product. The V2 introduces a fully functional electronic flight bag (EFB) with integrated performance calculations, loadsheet, and Navigraph charts, streamlining pre-flight planning. The fly-by-wire logic has been rewritten to match the latest Airbus standards, with more accurate law switching and alternate law behaviors.
Systems depth is increased with new hydraulic and electrical simulations, including realistic pressure fluctuations during gear and flap operation. The FMS now supports RNP AR approaches and holds, with improved VNAV guidance. Fenix has also partnered with Winctrl to offer integrated hardware support for their FCU panels, providing seamless communication between software and hardware.
Visually, the V2 features a new 4K texture set and more detailed cockpit lighting. The exterior model now includes accurate wing flex dynamics. Pricing has not been announced, but current owners will receive a discount. The A320neo V2 is expected to be a benchmark for Airbus simulation, and we eagerly await its release.
