Fenix Simulations has released a development update for their A320neo V2 for MSFS 2024, showcasing improved systems depth and visual refinements. The update includes a new EFB and better performance.

Fenix Simulations has provided a comprehensive development update on their upcoming A320neo V2, which is designed exclusively for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. This update offers a detailed look at the progress being made on the aircraft, which promises to build on the success of the original A320 with even greater systems depth and visual fidelity. One of the highlights is the redesigned Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), which now includes SimBrief integration, payload management, and a new performance calculator.

The team has also focused on refining the fly-by-wire logic, ensuring accurate handling and realistic responses to automation inputs. The cockpit visuals have been completely redone, with new textures, improved lighting, and a more authentic wear-and-tear appearance. The sound package has also been overhauled, with recordings from the real CFM LEAP-1A engines that power the A320neo.

Fenix has stated that they are working closely with Asobo to take advantage of the new features in MSFS 2024, such as improved cloud morphing and better weather radar. The aircraft will support full LNAV/VNAV, RNP AR approaches, and other modern navigation capabilities. A beta testing program is expected to begin early next year, with a release to follow.

This update is excellent news for airliner enthusiasts, as the A320neo is one of the most popular aircraft in the world. Fenix's commitment to realism and attention to detail is well known, and the V2 promises to set a new benchmark for airliner simulations in MSFS 2024.
