Fenix Simulations has revealed it is developing the Airbus A321neo for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, featuring the LEAP-1A engine and enhanced systems depth. The aircraft is expected to release in December 2026.
Fenix Simulations has officially announced that it is working on the Airbus A321neo for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The aircraft will feature the LEAP-1A engine, with accurate FADEC logic and performance data. It will also include the new Airspace cabin and updated avionics, including the ability to perform RNP AR approaches with radius-to-fix legs. The A321neo will join Fenix's existing A320ceo family, which has set a new standard for Airbus simulation in MSFS.
The development team has confirmed that the A321neo will benefit from MSFS 2024's improved CFD and ground handling, resulting in more realistic takeoff and landing behavior. Systems simulation will include hydraulic and electrical buses, fuel management, and a fully interactive MCDU. The aircraft will also feature a detailed cabin with customizable configurations, including the new ACJ319 and ACJ321 variants.
Fenix plans to release the A321neo in December 2026, priced at $59.99. Existing owners of the A320 will receive a discount. The developer is also working on the A319neo and A321XLR for 2027. With this announcement, Fenix solidifies its position as the premier Airbus developer for MSFS, and simmers can expect a new level of immersion in narrowbody operations.
